10 Year Education Pact

The 10-Year Education Pact is a national call to stabilize and reinvent higher learning through collective action and not through federal or state dependency.
This isn’t about prestige. It’s about purpose.
This isn’t about panic. It’s about triage, reinvestment, and transformation.

Triage

Phase 1: Triage (Years 1–3)

  • Use emergency endowment drawdowns

  • Fund basic needs infrastructure

  • Launch open-access learning pilots

Reinvest

Phase 2: Reinvest (Years 4–7)

  • Partner with underfunded K–12 schools

  • Invite private hospitals into education-health alliances

  • Offer free civic learning and mental health supports

Reinvent

Phase 3: Reinvent (Years 8–10)

  • Build education-health coalitions

  • Redesign civic learning ecosystems

  • Decentralize access to knowledge

We don’t have time to wait. This is how we begin.

We are educators, parents, researchers, and community organizers from across the United States—united by a shared belief: that public education, scientific inquiry, and the cultural commons must be protected as a birthright, not a bargaining chip.The Stewardship Circle formed to ignite a voluntary movement among universities, hospitals, artists, and donors to fill the gaps left by legislative defunding, political interference, and social division. We believe that endowments are not vaults—they are promises. And now is the time to fulfill them.We remain anonymous for now—not out of fear, but out of purpose. This movement belongs to everyone, and no single face should overshadow the communities we’re working to protect. In time, we will pass this torch to many hands. Until then, we carry it forward with care, clarity, and resolve.
